Terms of use / Updated 2026-10-12

Inspect the intent.Own the decision.

These terms define the limits of Byteplane's local contract tools and optional wallet actions. By using the site, you accept these boundaries.

01 / Nature of the tool

Preparation, not execution assurance.

Byteplane is an experimental interface for parsing contract ABIs, performing user-triggered provider reads, preparing calldata, requesting gas estimates, and creating an unsigned transaction envelope. It is not a wallet, custodian, execution engine, audit service, contract verifier, monitoring service, or complete transaction simulator.

A successful local validation, provider response, or estimate does not guarantee that a transaction will be safe, mined, successful, affordable, reversible, or suitable for your purpose. State may change between review and submission.

02 / Your responsibility

Check every field before consent.

  • Confirm the target address, network, ABI source, method, arguments, value, and wallet preview.
  • Independently assess contracts, tokens, approvals, permissions, fees, and counterparty risk.
  • Use only content and interfaces that you are authorized to use.
  • Protect private keys, seed phrases, devices, browser profiles, and exported envelope files.
  • Reject any wallet request that differs from the intent you reviewed.

03 / Local data

No backend persistence in the current release.

Byteplane currently performs its core parsing, composition, hashing, export, import, and verification work in the browser. It does not operate an application backend that persists your ABI, arguments, drafts, watchlist, or envelope files.

The local watchlist and participation state use localStorage. You are responsible for keeping any files or records you need. Browser-local data may be lost when site data is cleared, a device is replaced, or a different browser profile is used.

04 / Wallet and transactions

Connection does not authorize action.

Connecting a wallet requests an account and network context only. It does not sign an envelope, send a transaction, transfer funds, approve an asset, activate points, or make a payment. Provider reads, points activation, envelope signing, transaction submission, and optional payment are separate actions.

Any transaction must be initiated independently and confirmed in the wallet. Public transactions can fail, consume fees, expose information, interact with malicious contracts, or produce permanent loss. Byteplane cannot reverse or modify a confirmed public action.

05 / Envelope and reference contract

A digest has a limited meaning.

A matching envelope digest indicates that the verified body matches the body used to create that digest. It does not prove the safety or identity of a target contract, correctness of the ABI, authenticity of the author, successful execution, or accuracy of external data.

The reference anchoring contract is not deployed and has not been audited. Until a verified deployment is separately documented, the interface must treat anchoring as unavailable and must not present a local record as an on-network confirmation.

06 / Points and optional upgrade

No asset and no reward promise.

The 100-point activation is a separate, browser-local participation indicator. Points are not money, a token, equity, property, a security, or a promise of future value. They may be changed, reset, or removed as the product evolves.

The optional 0.37 BOT upgrade requires a separate review and wallet confirmation. It remains disabled until a verified recipient is publicly available. A completed payment does not purchase ownership, financial return, token allocation, or guaranteed future access.

07 / Prohibited use

Do not use Byteplane to cause harm.

  • Do not misrepresent a local draft, digest, estimate, signature, or failed request as a confirmed transaction.
  • Do not use the site to steal assets, distribute malicious calls, deceive others, or bypass informed wallet consent.
  • Do not probe, overload, disrupt, scrape abusively, or attempt unauthorized access to the site or third-party services.
  • Do not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, sanctions, export-control, or other applicable rights and laws.

08 / Availability and liability

Provided as available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Byteplane is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of accuracy, security, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Features may change, pause, or be withdrawn.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, project contributors are not liable for incorrect inputs, lost local data, contract defects, failed or unintended transactions, fees, lost assets, wallet compromise, third-party provider behavior, public disclosure, or indirect and consequential loss arising from use of the site.

09 / Changes

Terms follow the released tool.

These terms may be revised when Byteplane adds, changes, or removes capabilities. The date at the top identifies the current public version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site and do not perform optional wallet actions.
